Vol. 9
Scenes held. Moments noticed.
Hi <3
June has been full. A birthday. Madrid. Friends visiting. An event that came together on the most golden day of the season so far. A blur, but a beautiful one — warm light, familiar faces, small anchors in between.
There’s still a lot in motion — visa things, the search for a new apartment, and a few work-related pieces finding their place. My mum arrives this week, which makes it all feel a little more grounded. A little more real.
In the meantime, I’ll keep taking notes.
Current Obsession: Objects of Quiet Desire
A ring with weight and history. Gold, maybe vintage.
The kind you find by chance, but keep forever.

A Note In Time: A Held Moment
Copenhagen, early summer.
Tomatoes warm from the sun. A table dressed in linen and wild grass.
Thirty guests moved easily into the evening.
Fresh produce, considered lines, light where it belonged.
A scene assembled from the inside.
It unfolded in just the right way.
A Style Note: Unpolished Polish
Confidence dressing, the European way.
Certain. Undone. Entirely personal.
There’s something in the way people get dressed here.
It’s unpolished, but intentional.
Layered textures, unexpected pairings, structure with give.
It feels easier — less filtered, more lived in.
It’s influencing what I’m reaching for lately —
a considered hue, a shift in proportion.
Bold simplicity, effortless cool, an elegant mood.

Copenhagen Finds: With Notes from Madrid
Golden hour at Veranda, a glass of orange in hand.
Evenings at Bar Moro, worn walls and candlelight.
La Banchina on show for visiting friends.
Saturday mornings now start at Neroli.

And then — Madrid.
Warm air and long lunches at Bodegas El Maño, Campari spritzes included.
Two galleries, endless still lifes.
Wandering streets with quiet stories.
Ice coffees at Toma and Acid.
Evening wine at GOTA.
Fleeting, but exactly what was needed.

Brand Moment: Jonathan Anderson Arrives at Dior
Soft roses on cable knit.
Twisted collars.
Cargo under tailoring.
Schoolboy socks. Mary Janes.
Anderson’s first Dior menswear show arrived without noise.
A shift in mood. A reset in tone.
Heritage, unfastened.
Stillness, sharpened.
In vol. 2, I wrote about his exit from Loewe.
Now: a new chapter, the lens tilted.
What might Dior become?
Little Rituals
A walk, or just breath, before letting the day in.
One thing each week to slow me down.
Space for reflection — still figuring out where it fits.
A Small Moment that Made the Week (Plus a Few Worth Holding Onto)
Gigi cuddles.
Making memories with my nearest and dearest.
First Danish summer party energy.
The café remembering my coffee.
An open door, and time to walk through it.
Thanks for being here — more soon. x
